This page explains how to delete your account and data from the Whispie Quest application.

How to Delete Your Account

Open Whispie Quest

Launch the Whispie Quest application on your mobile device and log in.

Go to Settings

Navigate to the Settings section from the main menu.

Select Account

Tap on "Account Settings" or "Manage Account".

Delete Account

Scroll to find the "Delete Account" button. You will need to confirm your password.

Confirmation

Read the confirmation message carefully. Your account and data will be scheduled for deletion.

Alternative Method

If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing [email protected] from your registered email address.

Data Deletion Information

Immediately Deleted Data

  • Parent profile information (name, email)
  • Child profiles (name, age, interests)
  • Activity history and completion data
  • XP points, levels, and badges
  • Streak and progress data
  • App preferences and settings

Timeline: Within 24 hours of account deletion request

Retained Data (Legal Requirements)

  • Billing records: 7 years for tax purposes
  • Legal compliance data: 6 years for business records
  • Security logs: 90 days for security monitoring

Note: Retained data is anonymized where possible.

Additional Information

Processing Time: Account deletion requests are processed within 24 hours.

Backup Data: Backup copies are permanently deleted within 30 days.
