The parent holds the phone and guides their child through 5 sensory discovery phases (visual → sound → touch → smell → taste) for each selected food. The child reacts at each step, their creature earns XP, and progress is recorded. Sessions are 15–20 minutes and completely pressure-free — even "I don't like it" is valid progress.
No. The taste phase (phase 5) is optional and only unlocks after a timer completes. If the child doesn't want to taste, they can choose "dislike" — that's a perfectly valid response and gets recorded. Zero pressure is the foundation of the system.

Every food has its own creature character. The first time your child explores a food, the creature "wakes up" and joins the army. Each subsequent exposure earns the creature XP and levels it up. As the army grows, so does your child's motivation.
When a child has explored the same food 15 times, they "graduate" from that food. Research shows 15–20 repeated exposures is the threshold for food acceptance. Graduation generates a shareable card and badge.
Sensory DNA is the parent dashboard that shows how your child responds to each sense (visual, sound, touch, smell, taste) across different foods. It reveals patterns — which textures are tricky, which aromas are welcomed — so you can navigate mealtime with data instead of guesswork.
No. Whispie Flavor Agent is a game and family exploration tool — it does not replace professional feeding therapy, occupational therapy, or medical treatment. If you suspect your child has ARFID, sensory processing disorder, or another condition, please consult a qualified professional. The app can be used as a complementary tool alongside professional support.
